Jan Hart

About

Jan Hart is a Registered Professional Counsellor who is committed to helping individuals, couples and families of all backgrounds navigate the challenges and complexities of life. Jan collaborates with her clients to help them achieve their personal goals, to foster growth, and to promote spiritual, physical and emotional health. She is registered with CPCA. At one time or another most individuals require support and understanding.

Jan is an empathic listener when the time is right to share.

She believes that pain and challenges are opportunities that can be used to make positive changes in one’s life. As a counsellor, Jan brings her experiences working with women, children, teens, and families as a child-care worker and teacher for over 20 years. She also brings a number of strategies from cognitive behaviour therapy, art therapy and solutions focused therapy to her counselling practice as well as an optional faith-based approach. Other areas of focus include issues connected to communication, conflict management, and parenting as well as abuse, anxiety, depression, and grief.

Jan is an empathic listener who believes in providing a safe place where clients can develop the confidence to make positive life changes.
